Ingredient Information

MSM – Methyl Sulfonyl Methane “organic sulfur” is widely used around the world for relief of arthritis, back and muscle pain. MSM is naturally occurring sulfur. When applied to the outside of the skin it penetrates very rapidly. Inflammation of the joints is often caused by toxic buildup in those areas, MSM is a powerful detoxifier. MSM is often referred to as a “penetrant” making the cell walls more “permeable” thus aiding the release of toxins.

Lavender Essential Oil – One of the most versatile oils in aromatherapy. Lavender is a natural antibiotic, antiseptic, anti-depressant, sedative, and de-toxifier. It is able to aid healing and prevents scarring. Lavender is also used to treat scalds, minor burns, cuts, grazes, inflammations, eczema, headaches, insomnia, migraines, nausea, bacterial infections, acne and arthritis. From the psychological angle, Lavender reduces anxiety, stress and tension and therefore is used for calming, soothing and relaxation.

Sunflower Oil – Is a rich source of essential fatty alpha Linoleic acids (ALA), a major building block for the immune system and helps to promote luster to hair and helping skin to be supple and moisturized.

Sweet Almond Oil – Contains vitamins A, B1, B6 and E. Very good for protecting and softening the skin. Helps to sooth inflammation and calm irritation caused by Eczema.

Studies have shown that vitamins affect the skin. A lack of vitamins can make the skin lifeless, blotchy, dry or oily. Healthy skin requires a variety of vitamins to keep it resilient; specifically the following:

Vitamin A – Necessary for growth & repair of body tissue, helps maintain smooth, soft disease-free skin. Protects against air pollution. May help prevent skin damage.

Vitamin C - Helps heal wounds and scar tissue, builds resistance to infection, Vitamin C is the only antioxidant that has been proven to increase collagen synthesis (essential in maintaining healthy skin); Collagen decreases with aging. Accelerates healing.

Vitamin E – Major anti-oxidant; retards cellular aging due to oxidation.

Vitamin D – Considered being an antioxidant and anticarcinogen. Vitamin D absorbed through the skin’s outer layers, may help heal the skin, especially when combined with Vitamin A.
